Cory Moore of Nova Soapia contacted me about a month ago with news of a outdoor market he was developing in Sydney Forks. Last month Justin Lewis of LewisTech Engineering contacted me in need of a branding identity for his company launch this August. LewisTech will be providing all sorts of technical services from machinery repair to CNC machining. Pretty much a jack-of-all-trades, high-tech handyman. Over the past year I've had the absolute thrill of being able to be involved in the Louisbourg Market as a team member, more specifically, the Marketing Manager. It's been such a fun project to be apart of, I get to basically create whatever I want to showcase the market and encourage folks to come out to our little market (which has been growing and evolving over the year!) When Pat Lewis contacted me about painting a swordfish for her, I wasn't quite sure what I was walking into. I don't paint much in the way of sea life but I'm certainly open to a challenge. Denise Sonmor is an incredibly talented artist from Sydney, Nova Scotia.  I had the utmost pleasure of working with Denise this week on her branding for her quickly growing business. Denise's work is seriously beautiful, she puts so much care and attention into what she creates - up until this week, she hand drew and colored all of her business cards!
