This past May I got to work with Cara Prendegrast of Cara's Cake's. She had a vision of a watercolor logo showcasing her drip cakes. I couldn't wait to start!
I started with watercolor and a brush, working through a variety of cake ideas. We had to work through what the end cake and flowers should look like, as well as the dome.
Once the watercolor was decided on, I vectorized it and chose fonts to pair it with. The final branding set will give Cara some variations that will work well for her business in the form of cards, facebook banners, instagram posts and packaging labels for cakes and cupcakes.
